Audiences is where you define who you're marketing to. The page uses a two-panel layout: ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles) on the left as a tree, and Personas on the right as cards. RogIQ uses these to generate content that speaks directly to the right people — every topic suggestion, blog angle, and social caption is shaped by your audience definitions.

ICPs vs. Personas
| Column 1 | ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) | Persona |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The type of company that's a perfect fit for you | A specific person at that company you're trying to reach |
| Lives in | Left panel — the ICP tree | Right panel — persona cards |
| Example | "Small B2B Businesses with No Dedicated Marketing Function (5–30 Employees)" | Marcus — Owner / Sales Lead |
| Used for | Filtering topics and campaign targeting | Shaping tone, pain points, and CTAs in content |
Each ICP can have multiple personas. Click any ICP in the left tree to filter the persona cards to just that audience.
Adding Audiences

Click Import foundation doc if you already have a strategy document, brand brief, or ICP worksheet. RogIQ will parse it and create ICPs and personas from it automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many ICPs and personas should I create?
Start with 1–3 ICPs and 2–4 personas per ICP. The page shows you how many personas are linked to each ICP. Having too many dilutes the AI's focus — be precise about your primary targets first, then expand.
Can I use Generate Audiences if I already have some personas?
Yes. Generate Audiences will add new ICPs and personas without deleting existing ones. Review what it creates and remove any that don't fit.
What does 'In plans' show at the top?
The "In plans" indicator shows how many of your active content plans are targeting this audience. It helps you see at a glance which ICPs and personas are getting content coverage.
Can I edit or delete a persona?
Yes. Click any persona card to open it and edit the details. Use the options menu on the card to delete it.
