SEO & Publishing Pipeline Integrating with WordPress

Connect your platform directly to your WordPress website to automatically publish blog posts and SEO content. This integration ensures your written content, SEO metadata, and advanced schema markup are perfectly synced to your live site without manual copying and pasting.

This guide covers the direct WordPress Plugin integration. If you are using Wix, Webflow, Jboard, or do not have a plugin license, your content will be published via the Blog Embed method instead.

How the integration works

When you approve and publish a piece of content in the platform, our publishing pipeline automatically determines the best way to route it to your website.

For eligible WordPress sites, the platform securely connects to your WordPress installation and creates a native post. This background sync happens automatically, meaning you can continue working while the platform handles the publishing process.

Prerequisites

Before you can publish directly to WordPress, ensure you have the following:

  1. Primary Website Configured: Your client or agency account must have a WordPress site set as the primary website.

  2. Active Plugin License: You must have an active WordPress plugin license (typically included in Company or Franchise Agency Hub plans).

  3. Supported Content Type: The content must be formatted as a Blog, Blog Post, or SEO item.

Preparing content for WordPress

To get the most out of the WordPress integration, follow these steps before hitting publish:

  1. 1

    Optimize your SEO metadata

Ensure your Meta Title, Meta Description, and Focus Keywords are filled out in the editor. The platform automatically maps these to standard WordPress SEO plugins (like Yoast or RankMath).

  2. 2

    Review schema markup

The platform automatically generates Article schema for all blog posts. If you've included step-by-step instructions or FAQs, it will also auto-detect and generate HowTo and FAQ structured data.

  3. 3

    Check internal links

Use the platform's internal linking recommendations to connect your new post to existing pages. The integration automatically converts relative paths into absolute, public-facing URLs so your links work perfectly on the live site.

  4. 4

    Publish or schedule

You can either publish the post immediately or use the scheduler. Scheduled posts will automatically sync to WordPress at your specified date and time.

What gets synced?

When a post is pushed to WordPress, we transfer more than just the text. Here is exactly what is included in the sync:

FeatureWhat gets transferred
Content & FormattingFull HTML content, including headings, lists, and styling.
SEO MetadataMeta titles, descriptions, and target focus keywords.
Schema MarkupJSON-LD structured data (Article, FAQ, HowTo) for rich search results.
ImagesInline images, hero images, and section-specific images (complete with alt text).
Quality ScoresContent is analyzed for quality (Grades A-F) prior to publishing to ensure high standards.

Viewing Live Content: Once published, you can click View Live in the editor. The platform intelligently calculates the exact public URL based on your WordPress canonical metadata and website slug, ensuring you are always directed to the correct live page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn't my post publishing to WordPress?

First, check that your primary website is set to WordPress and that you have an active plugin license. If your site is built on Wix, Webflow, or Jboard, direct publishing is disabled by design, and you should use the Blog Embed feed instead.

Does this work with scheduled posts?

Yes! Scheduled content uses our background publishing queue. When the scheduled time arrives, the post state changes to "published" and the WordPress sync is triggered automatically.

What happens to my images?

All image metadata, including custom section placements (like sidebar or hero images) and alt text, is bundled and sent to WordPress during the publishing process.
